It is hard to believe that David is almost 8 months old. At 18 lb he has more than tripled his birth weight.
Everyday he learns something new. He sits up and pushes forward on his hands and knees. He rolls to get things and slides on his tummy on the wood floor. He devours books (literally). Yesterday, we heard a new sort of rattling noise coming form David's room and Cory came back announcing "Sorry mister David, your mobile needs to find a new home."
We think David got his first tooth the Thursday after Christmas and his second on New Year's Day. We could feel them, but David just let us look to see them today.
He is eating all the cereals, chicken, tofu, avocado, whole peas, carrots, green beans, lentils, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin. He has successfully eaten a couple of Cheerios, but he is better at crackers.
Like everything else bath time is becoming more fun. David has learned how to splash.
David rang in the New Year at Ella's house. The mommy's and daddy's had a great time. David woke up just before mid-night. I guess he didn't want to miss out on the celebration.

David helped to wake up Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas morning. He was in charge of the jingle bells and looking cute.
The smiles continued at Grandma and Grandpa Pittman's.
Paper bags were one of my favorite parts of Christmas.
In this picture he was excited about the bag, but he was also trying to impress his new girl friend. We learned that David has a thing for older women with long blond hair.

David got tired of the toy mommy gave him so he made his own, and loved it!
